The Showcase Other Diecast
This section is supposed to be for you, the diecast toy car collector but up until now I have not received anything like these to enter into the showcase, so I thought I would share something new in the "other diecast" section that I have recently begun to collect. I remember these from my childhood and though they weren't my favorites, I think they are really neat now. Let me know what you think.
These cars are from the late 60's and were produced by Aurora. They are called Aurora Speedline cars or Cigar box cars. Actually I don't know a lot about them so if you have some more history or interesting facts on them please let me know. As far as I know there are about 23 models in all and they came in three or four different chrome colors. I am not sure of the color variations but as in most diecast collectibles, some of the colors are more rare then others, as well as the different models.
