BigDisplayFULL.jpg (121527 bytes)MountainMiningDisplay.jpg (39051 bytes)

There are so many individual pieces in this collection that it really takes some time to "survey" it. Check out the Mining truck set displayed to the right.

EuropeanWoodStoreDisplay.jpg (74204 bytes)2storedisplay_full.jpg (70569 bytes)HeavyWeightTrashProtoDS.jpg (25347 bytes)

This is a very rare European store display with 48 cars. The first photo to the left is the way that Gerard has it displayed at this time, there are a bunch of proto-types on it. The one to the right, is the way that it was displayed a while ago but I thought it would be neat to see it both ways.

To the right is a proto-type Heavy Weight Trash truck with the clear windows as well as clear bucket arms and  a lime or yellow back. A great piece for sure.

FlyingColorsStoreDisplay.jpg (84635 bytes)

Check out this mid '70's Flying Colors Store display!

StoreDisplay1Full16Car2.jpg (36249 bytes)

WOW, this one is my favorite. Early Redline store display with all of the first 16 redline models. All but one car are original issues that came on the display including a gold Custom T-bird, Watermelon Mustang, chocolate brown Camaro and the light blue Cougar.

StoreDisplay22.jpg (40669 bytes)

Here is another early Redline Store display with eight cars including a proto-type police cruiser and a proto-type TurboFire.

StoreDisplayBridge2Full.jpg (65128 bytes)

Yet another original Redline store display with all original cars and this one even has the fold out poster board that would have been displayed hanging over the front of the counter.

MonogramSandCrabDisplay.jpg (44591 bytes)

A cool Monogram models Sand Crab display with the two Redline Sand Crabs added for the effect.

HotWheelGumballMachineFULL.jpg (32065 bytes)HotWheelGumBalls3.jpg (19459 bytes)

Ever seen one of these or maybe you will remember this one from your childhood? I didn't. It is an original Hot Wheels gum ball machine. All of the Gum balls have redline cars on them.

ReversWheelCarryingCase1.jpg (46401 bytes)ReversWheelCarringCase2.jpg (41991 bytes)ReverWall.jpg (37899 bytes)

To the left is a rare Revvers carrying case and to the right are a few of Gerard's Revvers blisterpacks.

A Mebetoys Can Am Ferrari. Not only is this one plastic but was made in the USSR. Check out the base.

*Note: The Russian Mebetoys and Gran Toro models are thought to be take offs on the original models produced by Mattel/Mebetoys in the early '70's

GrandToro-Russian-SilDS.jpg (24764 bytes)Grand-Toro-Russian-Silouett.jpg (26370 bytes)

Here is a diecast Silhouette also made in Russia.

This is just a sampling of this awesome collection. There were many other highlights that I didn't photograph but I have been invited back so I will update this section as time permits.

I would like to give a Big Thank You to Gerard for letting me photograph some of his stuff and for sharing his collection. I really enjoyed the day. Thanks Bud!
