In February 2004 one of the biggest single redline owner transfer's took place in Southern California, the acquisition of probably one of the rarest and most desired redlines known in the redline community. The car is the Pink Rear Loading Beach Bomb no. 2 was owned by Bruce Pascal and transferred to Gerard Grenier. No. 1 is still owned by Bruce and is currently on display at the Peterson Automotive museum in Los Angeles, California. The car was originally owned by Peter White, a former Mattel employee and was acquired by Bruce a couple of years ago. It is the only Pink Rear loader with the original rear loader base (chassis), known to exist. Bruce and Gerard invited a bunch of southern California redline enthusiasts (myself included) to a great dinner and to share in the event. Thanks Guys! Below are some pictures of the car and those in attendance. Hope you Enjoy! |
